On UA you can actually see fare buckets when booking. Is there any such capability on DL.com or must you use a third party site?

Thanks

The award fare bucket is shown explicitly on the itin selection screen, along with pricing and taxes/fees.

Did you mean fare bucket availability (i.e. United's Expert Mode)? If so, then no... Delta does not show you this. No site will.

If you meant seeing what classes a given itinerary book into, then yes, per 3Cforme's screenshot.

But I have a feeling you were asking about the former.

You are correct, the former. Similar to Expert Mode.

Note that O applies to flights marketed as business class as well as BE.

I'd label it as business or BE, since BE is very different from business class.

Questions regarding award tickets after March 1: What cabin will coach awards book into - main cabin or basic economy? Will we be able to book into any cabin; DeltaOne, First Class, Delta Comfort+, Main Cabin or Basic Economy using only miles?

Is there some reason that you think it will be different after March 1 than it is now? Isn't "Basic Economy" and "Main Cabin" the same thing, with the difference being in the fare rules on paid tickets regarding upgrades, refundability, etc?

DL believes that BE at Level 5 is "OK".

I'm sure it is to them.

With the disapperance of the award charts and the new cabin scheme I'm not sure what award tickets will be after March 1. Will they change to match paid ticket buckets? Delta could do this now. I would be interested in buying EC+ with miles now that GM don't get access to those seats until 24 hours prior. Just wondering if Delta is sticking to two award cabins while going to five paid cabins.
