DL Increases Some CVG Mainline

I noticed in the schedule that CVG-SAN resumes (shockingly) in December. That flight usually only hangs around a few months in the summer.

Also, starting in March CVG-LGA will see a return of mainline equipment.

Yes, not much but I'll take what I can get!

Agreed! I wouldn't mind some two class RJs on RDU-CVG but I'm not going to be greedy.

I truly miss CVG.

I'd ride a 2-class RJ from PHL to CVG.

But, alas, all they run is no-class (low-class) RJ200s.

I would hardly say it "resumes". It flies on a handful of dates around Christmas and New Years, and then goes dormant again until June.

CVG is one of my favorite places to connect.....people are great there and it's very simple and clean. I'll miss this place since it's nearly impossible to connect thru there these days.

Delta operates nonstop from CVG to all of those cities except for MIA.

How about more nonstop flights from CVG to MHT, PBI, MCO, JAX, SAV, CLT, GSP, RIC, BUF, SYR, and etc.

Well, DL does serve MCO, JAX, CLT, RIC. But yes, I would love to wake up and have it be 2007 where CVG is in all its glory. Such good people and a great airport. A much nicer experience than the crowds at ATL, the long walks at MSP, or the horrible/nasty/incompetent agents at DTW. I'll connect at CVG, JFK, or SLC any day over ATL, MSP, or DTW.

I'd say a decade earlier than 2007 was CVG in all its glory. Back when they flew 767s to LGA, BDL, BOS, PHL etc. and there was a First Class Lounge

Though the mid-2000's wasn't bad either. I first used CVG in 2005 flying ORD-CVG-AZO. ORD-CVG was mainline of course and now CVG-AZO no longer exists

ATL's treatment of CVG is just payback for the War of Northern Aggression.
