Bad bargain. OP has a $700 voucher. If he noshows, he has blown $300 of it. If he changes his $300 ticket, he will need to come up with $200 more to use that $300. And, there is no guarantee that DL doesn't pick up the fact that he is no longer on the itinerary and cancels his buddies' tickets.

You need to check the voucher number after the 006. If the next 3 numbers are 054 then it is restricted to the name on the voucher. If it is 064 or something else then you have more flexibility and can use it for an additional passenger on the same itinerary.
