I just read a post over on a.net that the 75H's get re-purposed seats in Y and new seats in F while the 75D's (e.g. N685DA) are getting all new seats. That might partially explain things.

Is there a proper bulkhead wall between first class and Comfort+ in the new 75H configuration? I assume not, given Delta's preference for soft dividers in other cabin update programs.

You can squeeze more sardines in with a curtain than a wall....

Delta 75H

I just joined FT to respond to this thread. I just flew on N548US from LAX-OGG in F and took several photos.

To answer some questions there is no real bulkhead separating Delta comfort and F. I thought the F seats were very comfortable. I was dreading the 37" pitch for 5 1/2 hours but it was nice, It actually feels like 38-39. The entire cabin looks brand new with the new bins, side panels and LED color lighting. Even the front lav was nice with new blue lighting inside.

The windows reminded me of flying on an Airbus. They are round and not square like the old ones. The flight attendants were still getting used to it as well, looking for where things were and making announcements about this being a "brand new configuration".

As soon as I figure out how to post pics I will (hopefully later today). I do not belong to a photo hosting site so if someone wants to give me some hints that would be great. Feel free to ask any other questions.

There are two small mesh screens, one on each side and a see thru curtain. Its just as bad as HA's on their A330's. Im going to try and attach a picture, still figuring out the forums!

I managed to get the one on shutterfly linked below, the new bins and PSUs make it look at 737-900ER

Interesting timing, but can this 757 ferry flight from IND-ATL be the next one out?

Looks like they did a shake out flight earlier in the day.

A don't see any other Delta 752s arriving so I would guess that N685DA has finally finished MODs.

Seems strange that they'd go to the trouble of changing the seats without throwing in the new seat covers.

According to Flight Aware N685DA is scheduled to fly ATL-MCO-ATL tomorrow morning as DL1818. Seat map is still showing it as a 75X.
