Is it common to be able to book a skyteam partner on a schedule change? Hypothetically, say flying with KLM through Amsterdam instead with the same initial schedule as the OP? Keeping departure date the same, as well as origin and destination meets their rules.

Booked when it was cheap, but not 518 cheap.

Did anyone manage to switch this flight to something else entirely? E.g. a connection through ATL on DL codeshare on KE?

Need just a touch more miles to hit status for 2014 but having trouble getting them to accept a routing...... lots of variance in phone reps.
