TV question

Flying JFK to VCE at the end of August. A college football game I would like to watch starts at 8:30AM while we're in flight on ESPN2. Is there any possibility that Delta will have this channel on the personal TVs? Or will it be movie channels only?

Thanks for the help!

There is only on-demand movies and TV shows on transatlantic flights. Live satellite TV is available on certain domestic planes (and doesn't always work).

You will only have on demand content available movies, select TV shows, music, etc.

Thanks very much for the quick responses.

After posting I realized the game is on 8:30 eastern time, so it will be on 2:30PM in Venice. Hopefully I can watch some of it after arriving. Thanks again.

What college football game starts at 8:30 AM Eastern time? Is there a game being played in Europe?

How the Garda Siochana would ever see their way to letting PSU into Ireland baffles the mind.

Is UCF still coached by George O'Leary?

Might be difficult to find ESPN2 in Venice. Hope you have a Slingbox, as the WatchESPN app won't work from outside the US.

The new Slingbox M1 was just released on Sunday

Only $149 and they give a $30 discount if you have an older model. They work great from Asia when on business.

I purchased one for the same reason: Big Ten Football - Michigan State

It is a godsend when you are randomly awake overseas at 3 am and all that is on is BBC 1,2,3,4 and the loop of CNN International.

What, you mean you're not convinced that Richard Quest MEANS BUSINESS?

There are plenty of ways to watch any live sports without having a slingbox or paying money. Just make sure you have ad block on.

Okay, I'll bite. Care to elaborate? With TWC refusing to carry the SEC Network at this point, I will need to be able to watch that channel.

Thanks in advance.
