What if you are already booked? I have an award ticket that has been booked for a while, part of an intl itinerary....

Houston is the only one they don't serve — and I suspect we'll see flights added there soon, considering this announcement.

The award ticket should have an AS flight number, not the codeshare one, so all is good.

Code share is different than award ticket. Code share means you can book the AS flight through DL and it gas a DL flight number (and earn full mqm and MQD). Without the code share you would need to book the (paid) flight through AS and would not get MQDs. Award tickets can book partner coded flights if the partner has the low level awards available.

As is considering cancelling DL codes shares in Alaska in return. Seems like the end of code sharing.

Not good unless they are going to make SEA-ANC a year round service. Right now it is seasonal!

It's my understanding that DL will have at least 1 daily flight for year-round service and 3 daily flights will be offered during the Summer.

What about the SEA-STL codeshare? It's no longer showing up on Delta.com.

Thank you in advance.

Interesting timing, coinciding with the end of the AA/B6 partnership as well.

Kiss this AS/DL partnership goodbye in the next month. Even this months Sky magazine is building up SEA for Delta.

B6/AS partnership is what you're hinting at?

Emirates already partners with both B6 and AS so it is possible for passengers on either airline to earn and redeem indirectly now through Skywards.
