Any desire to be on the last CRJ-200/E-145 flight

I have been a member of the board for a few years now. It seems to be a tradition that on the last flight of a type of aircraft Flyertalk members scramble to be on that flight. Does anyone want to try willingly to be on the last CRJ-200/ERJ-145 flight?

At least it would be a short flight.

I'd like to know which flight it is so I can stand at the gate with a glass of champagne and watch it push back

it will likely be terminating at a hub, so you may have to figure out how to get to the originating station without taking the outbound on the same jet

Keep in mind that even with the pullbacks, there will still be 125 50 seaters in the fleet for the foreseeable future, so there is no imminent last flight.

I just wish my first flight on one was my last, but that hasn't proved to be the case ....

The 145's aren't as bad .... but then there were the Saabs.

<lol>

I won't believe CRJs are gone until years after i see it for myself.
Even the E145's, which i thought had already faded out, i've learned i will be on one next month on a segment to PHL.

My home airport is CWA, we have CRJ200's serving DTW and MSP.
I'd be very pleasantly surprised if they pull the 200's from these routes,
although MSP is only 35min once airborne.

You'll have to live a long time to be around for that happening.

Until Endeavour closes down the CRJ maintenance facility there you'll be seeing them for a looong time.

I thought they were moving these to the JFK-LAX/SFO runs (with a few fuel stops) to compete with B6 new "Mint" product.

These planes just need to go.

I probably won't have to try. Pretty much everywhere I go is on a 200.
At least the RJs get semi-normal parking spaces at DTW.
