Well if it's color that makes you happy, perhaps they should bring these back?

The link to the picture is broken.

Considering the plastic is still on the floor, maybe there are a few more final touch ups to be done before taking paxs.

A little color makes me happy. That may be too much color, but bring it on!

I'm a big fan of winged headrests. Keeps my teeny tiny head from getting lost.

DL sure knows how to make old aircraft look like new ones.

I find it interesting to note that the standard DL seat number placards are not in place here. I wonder if this is just temporary or if this will be the case across the whole fleet of 717s.

It looks an a refurb FL interior to me...by the way, I believe that these aircraft were surplussed by WN/FL.

I have taken many trips on the FL 717's. Better deal than the MD80's, CRJ's etc. You will like it when you fly it.

Yes, the Song color patter was a bit obnoxious. I'd love to see the color patter that was on the L-1011s in economy. Red blue and gray seats depending on the seat letter. I can't seem to find a photo of what those looked like but I seem to recall red at the window pairs and blue/gray mixture in the aisle set of 5.

Looks nice to me. I see there is 3 rows of first class. I was on 2 flights last week that use to have 4 rows and now same plane/flight has 3 rows. Seems like they are cutting back first class for more economy comfort. I know these are smaller planes. Just wondered if anyone else has noticed less rows of first class.

Are you comparing this to the DC-9? According to DL these 717s are meant to replace CRJ-200s so if that's the case, there would actually be an increase in F seating. If what you're saying is true, then DL marketing lied to all of us (shocking).

But yes, DL is cutting back on F seating. It's already clear with the 737-900ERs and now A321s replacing 757s throughout the domestic network. DL's goal is to pull as many seats as practical off the upgrade market and make its "F" cabins as full with paying customers as it can.

Thanks for info. I take the same flight often but don't know what size of plane it is. Same plane but in past 2 months they have gone form 4 rows to 3 rows. Same as 2 other routes. This plane looks nice though

Other than the reduction of seats from 16 to 12 in the A319/320, I am unsure which aircraft you're referring to...

Agreed! It reminds me of a nursing home shuttle bus. " I am sorry but due to the turbulence and the short flight time, there will be NO prune juice beverage service!"

The L-1011-1s did not have the red seat covers, and the seats were shorter in height than the -250s and -500s; I believe the -1s were the first to have its original Y seats replaced, as well the first to get the IFE upgrades replacing the original various IFE systems with spin-dial in-seat controls with a Matsushita S-VHS system with buttons and green 7-segment LED displays in the armrests (the -1s were the only ones that didn't get Airshow installed).

FYI, one color scheme that was more unique was the autumn colors used on the 762s and most of the domestic 763s in various shades of red, orange, and tan. There was even a picture of an autumn tree on the bulkhead, and the projector screen was retractable in order to see the autumn tree while boarding.

You're confused. Delta has not reduced the size of the first class cabin on any domestic aircraft in quite some time.
