Beware: small flock of middle aged women barefoot in JFK t4 club right now

Just wanted to give a heads up for anyone that might be caught off guard.

Shoes and socks seem to have become optional. They seem to be enjoying walking around and feeling the new carpet under their feet. Pedicures desperately needed. Saw manager of the club walk by without saying a thing. Absolutely fabulous.

And what did the manager say when YOU alerted him/her out of sight of the offenders?

Defninitely disgusting, but what's the manager going to say - not worth the conversation.

Unfortunately in NY you have to see tons of people's disgusting feet all throughout the summer.

If they're in the food service area, it's probably a health code violation. Remind the dragons of this.

As long as the woman aren't using their feet to grab food out of the jars, I'm OK with it. It's icky, but the filth is on THEIR feet.

I reserve my complaints for more serious offenses....more entertaining to post this on here and not do a thing about it

I shudder to think of the germs hanging around security, particularly in warm weather climates where people just have slip-on shoes without socks. If you see a guy at security wearing shorts with shoes and socks, that's probably me. Fashion faux pas, but, ew, I don't want to know what's on those floors.

But definitely yucky to have to see that in the lounge.

Here's the thing, the airline's Contract of Carriage states no barefoot flying, I don't think that covers the SkyClub/Greyhound bus terminal lounge.

I can't imagine that bare feet present more of a health risk than shoes in a food service area. Unless, as noted earlier, they used their toes to serve themselves!
