That fits for the 143s, the 141, and the 163 I have access to. Well done.

Same for me. I do not have a SunTrust account.

For v16 my wife is 158 and I am 153. What is correct is she is now 59 and I 54 so I agree v16 is age -99. Just had birthdays in April.

And, supposing v16 is age-related, then it makes sense that one of the remaining "mystery" fields is gender-related... maybe something along the lines of male (Y/N) or gender (1=M/2=F). Also, maybe there are marital status and/or kids/no kids identifiers thrown in for good measure.

Here are my remaining unknown fields, and I am a female married 5 days ago (no biological children, 2 stepchildren):
v03 - Y
v09 - Y
v14 - N
v19 - Y
v20 - N
v26 - 2
v27 - Y
v29 - Y
v32 - [null]
v36 - N
v37 - [null]

My income is a fraction of the actual, yet they still think I'm a Thriving Boomer. But I want to be American Royalty...

Maybe we can submit corrections?

Step 1: Use Key 1 to convert "V" to "D"
Step 2: Use Key 3 to convert "ER" to "16"
Step 3: Combine the two results above ("D" and "16") to form your Mosaic segment: D16
Step 4: Determine your Mosaic segment name using Experian's explanation document: http://www.experian.com/assets/marke...c-brochure.pdf (pages 6-7). D16 = "Settled in Suburbia".
I am an A04, Power Elite, Picture Perfect Family. How did they know

v26 is likely gender. In 5 cases, it holds that 1=M, 2=F.

It's all speculation what that number means, it could translate to something else like

1 = Buys LUT fares
2 = Uses a Travel Agency

etc.

There is no proof that it is a sliding index nor if a high value is good or bad.

Again, these mosiac things are pretty clearly based on geographics and not on your actual income/family makeup/homeownership/etc.

Someone way back in January posted some information on this, and it does appear that this is how experian handles this.

My wife is 158 and I am 153. Added 99 makes us way too old. subtracting 99 give us the correct age. Very odd
