Figured a highly collaborative effort like this needs a wikipost. As items and codes are confirmed, let's centralize them in one place rather than thumb through hundreds of discussion posts.

No, I'm using Key 1 to translate the first letter E to the letter O. Then I'm looking at Key 3 to translate the second and third letters, namely P and something, to numbers. On Chart 3, the letter P becomes 3, not 5. (The letter L would become 5, but I'm looking at codes that are EPsomething, not ELsomething.)

After determining the first letter, then forget the second two columns all together. Use column 1 on the far left which is the index and match the P from there across the row to key 3 and you should come up with 5. By the same logic, K from the index should be matching up with the 3 in the third key, L shouldn't be anything in key 3.

Ha! I looked up the longer description of the J33 "Aging in Place" that I was assigned!

"In their carintensive communities, they still like smooth-cruising vehicles that can handle the interstates - brands like Cadillac and Lincoln." and the key traits include "Social Conservative", and "Charitable donors".

I have a Cadillac- which they would know.
I fiscally supported a local Republican, and I do give to charity, which they would know...

But my Cadillac has 556hp and a 6 speed manual transmission, the Republican was at risk of losing their Senate seat for supporting gay marriage, and I don't do it because I fear G-d...

It's amazing how a little bad data can cause a whole slew of other data to be misinterpreted.

MSPeconomist, for the purposes of decoding the second and third characters in v22, just pretend that the columns in between "Index" and "Key 3" don't exist. You will see that after finding "P" in the "Index" column, the number "5" appears in the same row in the "Key 3" column.

As another example, "B" in the "Index" column corresponds to "0" in the "Key 3" column.

Edit: Apologies to cmd320 -- did not see your post above in time.

I see what I was apparently doing: looking first for a translated letter (treating input as output) and then translating it into a number. Thanks.

v24, the 8 character field translates to a date using key 3. i.e. HBEHBKBE = 20120301

Could this be related to elite status or SC expiration, which would be March 1 for most DMs?

Nice find. Some people have blanks for v24. Any thoughts on what the date represents? The examples posted have been either blank or scattered throughout the last few years.

Dunno, but figuring it out may rest with timmy83 who had v24=HBEHEEBP (20121105) or those who have dates other than 201x0301.

LMAO at the data Delta has. House value is way off (is there a max cap on this? i noticed the Experian breakdowns don't go over 750,000 my DL data shows 755) , my Mosaic data is wrong as well. The only thing that would make sense would be v06 standing for my overall travel discretionary spend.

My v24 is blank and I don't have a SkyClub membership, no future flights booked either. Not sure if that helps at all.

Not sure, but I have a 6 but I'm a weird customer. I mileage run sometimes but also last year would do anything to fly Delta, no matter the price difference, and multiple occasions paid over 1k for a domestic Y ticket.

Mine is 32. I know for a fact that I did not spend $32000 last year on air travel. That's more than I have in my savings account. That's more than I make doing part-time minimum wage. Incidentally, it's more than I'll spend for undergraduate tuition. I know most peoples' data supports most of our hypotheses, but v06 is one I'm still skeptical of.

I dont think the numbers are necessarily direct numerical correlations. I think they may meet up with a chart that Delta has because if you look at the original time this data became available it was under "custValSeg" which makes me believe they've segmented the various customers in to pods based on how much value they have to them, but the question is can we find any way in which the numbers match up with our spend, status, segments, etc.

Most of my fields are blanks. I think it's harder to gather this information on people living outside the US and/or DL doesn't bother.

Only interesting thing is my Customer Value Score. It's 6. I wonder what that means.
