flight at end of year / miles post?
quick question, i'm 100% certain this has been covered but i couldn't turn up a search.
scenario - round trip flight leave 12/25, return 12/31. All flying taking place in 2014. Miles don't typically show up until 24-48 later - just making sure the flight on 12/31 will post to 2014, need the MQM

IIRC the rule is that if the segment is scheduled to depart before midnight on NYE, it will count for the old year. When flights post doesn't matter, just like the AmEx MQMs count for the year in which they were earned, regardless of when they post to a DL FF account.
