😳 Wow! It didn't even have a chance to dry out and stop smelling, I'll bet.

That's at least a comped trip's worth of poo in that blanket...

A320 seats 3a/b. Guy just assumed that he could have the whole middle section of the underseat area.

In fairness, the legs of those seats make underseat storage a bit tricky if you're in the aisle seat. There have been several occasions where I've had to ask my seat mate if they minded that I did the exact same thing.

Perhaps the difference is I always make it a point to ask before I just stuff my bag in that spot.

When compared to the poo blanket, I don't know if this quite qualifies as a "disgusting" act.

Same. Also, keep in mind, if that bag goes up a larger roller may not fit so...

To be fair, isn't this kind of a first come, first served scenario? It's certainly polite to ask about the overlapping space, but I wouldn't qualify this as 'disgusting'.

If you're worried bout getting your bag up top, you certainly have the ability to board early.

I'd never take the space without asking my seatmate, and definitely get irritated if s/he just goes for it. Small act of big entitlement.

You totally missed my point. The point I was making is any kind of smaller bag in overhead could mean a large one (not mine ie another passenger) may have to check it rather than go overhead.
