Unfortunately, SLC-EWR nonstop is typically a A320. SLC-JFK 737 or 757 with significantly nicer F. EWR is a more convenient airport for me typically, such is life. You can't really compare A320 F to the rest of the fleet.

I don't know if it's because I'm getting older but sometimes my legs do get painful and I worry a little bit about blood clots and what not. I suppose raising your legs above your heart is good at helping the blood flow back to the rest of your body but yeah, this is something that is on my mind more often than not.
I'll try to find a hidden corner or a larger lav where I can stretch my legs out to get the blood to circulate better... I don't want to raise my legs up and end up with my picture on this thread.

You know, on transpacific flights, I've definitely noticed that my legs get more swollen from sitting in a seated position. I was using inflight slippers but trying to put my shoes on after sitting in a Y seat for more or less 12 hours was difficult.

I am very thankful that I am now in a position to do my long-haul travel in premium cabins where I can lay down properly, but still have noticeable discomfort on mid-hauls and TCONs in Y.

I'm not sure how you determined that he was a high-powered business excutive or that AUS-XXX is all over the world. Having said that, I admit that you can see the moonlight streaming into the window.
