182 N182DNwill retire as a 76Zv1.

*Note: This version has doors near the engines (like the 764) and only has one over-wing exit. There are lavatories near the 2nd set of doors (13-14CDE do not exist). Unlike all other 767 versions Delta has, there isn't a lavatory set near the over-wing exits (because they are near the 2nd set of doors).
**All retired 9/30/2020 due to COVID-related fleet simplifications

N1608
N1609
N1610D
N1611B
N1612T
N1613B
*Note: This configuration is used inclusive on SEA-PVG, ATL-LOS. It also frequently works SEA-ATL to provide rotation. These aircraft do cover flights to Europe All 36J seats will be sold because it has a crew rest module installed. Also, the Y seats are the older ones like the 777 with the older IFE system (only 767-300ER type with that, all others are the newer seats/system).
**All retired 6/30/2020 due to COVID-related fleet simplifications

What DL is believed to do is put all flights with 26J as the 76Z Version 2 configuration and then change it to 76Z Version 1 closer to departure as needed. If you select 20-21CDE when it is 76Z Version 2 and it changes to 76Z Version 1, it should seat you in 13-14CDE considering that 20-21CDE doesn't exist on the configuration it changed to. All other seats are numbered the same regardless of Version 1 or 2, although there may be minor differences such as row 20 being an exit row on Version 1.

Sept 25 2020 Announcement: Delta to retire 717, 767-300ER and CRJ-200

If we do get lucky then how much time is there to sort out seat assignments for the newly configured 763s? I remember that was a mess when they introduced FC to the RJs.

I dont know how DL figures that one out. I'm traveling solo so it makes no matter to me. Actually, it does. I'd like an odd row window seat please!

Just booked 4 JFK-DUB J seats for the family in August. One can only hope and pray for an updated version! One thing going for me... It's 320 days away. Going against... It's a shorter intl flight and likely low priority to have an upgraded bird.

I am on ATL-DUB on a 767-300 for late December, probably have the old sleeper seats, would be a nice surprise if I got the lie flat but I don't think its likely

Check flightaware.com and enter the reg# of the 763ERs (N1608, N1611B, or N1612T).

N1608 did JFK-ZRH on Sat night, and is scheduled for JFK-SVO tonight.
N1611B has been doing some CDG-USA runs lately
N1612T is in the Pacific doing NRT-SFO/PDX/GUM

I don't believe so...the first two have mostly been used on a lot of ex-AMS and ex-CDG routes, with a sprinkling of ATL-South America...

Does the new config show up on the seatmap? Was looking through the website and DL only has the old 767-300ER listed. So tried looking at some SFO-NRT routes and could only find the old seatmap as well... so not sure where it shows up.

Dublin will be one of the last destinations to get the new 767-300er. Wouldn't get your hopes up for August 2012. However as I fly this one a lot, i dearly hope I am wrong
