Unlike all other 767 versions Delta has, there isn't a lavatory set near the over-wing exits (because they are near the 2nd set of doors).

N1607B
N1608
N1609
N1610D
N1611B
N1612T
N1613B
*Note: This configuration is used inclusive on SEA-PVG, ATL-LOS. It also frequently works SEA-ATL to provide rotation. These aircraft do cover flights to Europe All 36J seats will be sold because it has a crew rest module installed. Also, the Y seats are the older ones like the 777 with the older IFE system (only 767-300ER type with that, all others are the newer seats/system).
**All retired 6/30/2020 due to COVID-related fleet simplifications

What DL is believed to do is put all flights with 26J as the 76Z Version 2 configuration and then change it to 76Z Version 1 closer to departure as needed. If you select 20-21CDE when it is 76Z Version 2 and it changes to 76Z Version 1, it should seat you in 13-14CDE considering that 20-21CDE doesn't exist on the configuration it changed to. All other seats are numbered the same regardless of Version 1 or 2, although there may be minor differences such as row 20 being an exit row on Version 1.

Sept 25 2020 Announcement: Delta to retire 717, 767-300ER and CRJ-200

ships 1607-1613 will get the mods done first. Once the 12+ hour birds are done they do the rest of the 300ER fleet. All 300ERs are expected to be done by S13.

Thats 24 more months to do 58 total aircraft. Thats doing at least 2 conversions a month. I'm on a few 763's TATL in November... I'm heading to Zurich through AMS. I seriously doubt I'll be lucky enough to wind up on a 763 mod plane.

Does it look like the stRt with the longest haul and work backwards, or is load a consideration?

Very good to hear. Let's hope DL will be consider it done new cabin interiors, new economy class & new J class, too. How many aircraft has already completely refurbished new cabin interiors?

I got a schedule change last night that moved me from the old 763 AMS-MSP but ended up on another old 763 AMS-DTW (11/12) after starting the day in RIX.

So, as of Sep 28, 2011

N1608 is done and in service
N1611B is done and in service
N1612T is nearly done and should be in service within a week
N1609 went in for re-furb about a week ago
N1607B, N1610D, and N1613B will be the next ships to go in for re-furb

re-furb is taking about six weeks

Does this sound right?

Does anyone know if MEM-AMS will be getting a refurb? I'm on this flight semi-regularly, and it's pretty long on the old 763.

I'm thinking this would be one of the last flights to get the mods. Zero competition, and I'm not sure MEM would be considered a premium market.

There are currently no set routes that the reconfigured aircraft fly. They have been rotated throughout the system including European, African, South American, and Asian routes. It has even flown one AMS-MEM round trip, so don't be so quick to rule out certain routes. It's possible that once there are a greater number done that they start to focus them on certain markets, but for now it's really luck of the draw.

So fingers crossed! I'm on the MEM-AMS flight to in the beginning of January. Indeed good to know in advance, since we always fly next to each other near a window seat and although the re-furb plane would be GREATLY received....we need to choose different seats.

what a waste. Whats the sense of having it fly into and out of MEM? use it where the competition matters the most.
