does this mean if I am on JFK to DCA, I can change it to the shuttle, LGA-DCA. Usually the latter is much more expensive than the former. Has anyone tried this?

Does this just apply to DMs, or are PMs covered too?

AFAIK, this hasn't been confirmed by anyone, and is currently just a rumor.

I've yet to get a straight answer on this.

JFK T2 SC Agent said Yes

DM line agent said Typically you cannot but as a DM we waive the fee and do the change

GA in BOS said NO

Red Coat in BOS said NO

I figured it wouldn't be possible, and when I wanted to do it I couldn't because it was < 1 hour and the GA / Red Coat wouldn't do it ... but the DM line would have for me had I tried earlier.

As far as other SDCs to Co-Terminals this is indeed a benefit to DMs. When talking with an agent tell them to refer to KM in the SDC section if they can't figure it out (per zsmith2).

I wish I had remembered zsmith2's notation about it...I got denied by an agent yesterday when trying to switch from BWI to DCA...when I pressed her, she went back and double-checked and of course, changed the flights no problem. Why dont the agents read the latest updates to be aware of these changes?

Because there is none that I'm aware of....I learned it from FT and researched it.

another agent confirmed for me specifically for the changes from JFK-DCA to LGA to DCA. However, I later canceled the ticket so didn't actually try it.

Here's the domestic list I got:

LGA/JFK/EWR/HPN
IAD/DCA/BWI
OAK/SFO/SJC
LGB/LAX/ONT/SNA/BUR
HOU/IAH
ORD/MDW
MIA/FLL

and International:

NRT/HND
LGW/LHR
MXP/LIN

Excellent new benefit

EDIT: Updated LBG/LGB
This is silly - I can get from DAB to MCO much quicker than I could get from BWI to DCA or either to IAD (especially when 495 is clogged (which is between the hours of 12:01 a.m. and midnight, 7 days of the week).

They need a generic "ORL" that would cover MCO, DAB, and MLB

I wouldn't trust it. I had a call last week and they're researching it ... probably going to result in rewording of KM ... hopefully will have an update today/tomorrow.

NRT and HND are further apart than than MCO and TPA. About 100 miles, right?

Absolutely time to focus on Continental. A lot of people agree with me.
