Expedia and being on the upgrade list ???

Programs: AS MVPG, CO, NW(now DL), Flying Blue

Expedia and being on the upgrade list ???
Recently booked a flight through expedia ANC-MKE. 2 segments NW and 1 segment AS. I had to call and be placed on the upgrade list manually for the AS segment. As a DL gold do I have to call and be placed on the NW/DL upgrade list manually like AS or is it automatically added?

If you have a DL/NW confirmation number, you can enter it online.

NW/DL upgrade is automatic once you put your FF# in the reservation. I've booked through expedia multiple times.

I thought AS upgrade perk is temporarily taken away due to integration issues but I'm not sure since I've never flown AS.

OP is an AS MVP Gold so they will get automatic upgrades on AS flights. Otherwise, you are correct. DL elites can't get upgrades on AS at this time. Should happen in 2010.
