July 5, 2015 -- Serenade of the Seas (Baltic/Scandanvia)

I'm thinking of booking a private tour in St. Petersburg with Alla that spends more time in the city and has some free time for walking around Nevsky Prospect. If anybody is interested in joining, feel free to PM.

How far ahead is it best to book a cruise? I am looking at a transatlantic from NA. Is it like airlines that they are only available to book a year in advance?

As soon as the cruise is published on the website, you can book it with a small refundable deposit.

Love the Serenity and would love to have been on this cruise, but too late off the mark. Instead, will be on the Symphony Los Angeles-New York via Panama Canal May 25-June 12. Haven't done a sail in to New York Harbor, yet, so something new to me.

Just added a short cruise over 4th of July with my mom on RCCL's Majesty of the Seas. One last time sailing that class before she leaves the fleet. My first cruise was on her older sister, Sovereign of the Seas.

The TA was real smooth. We never stepped off until Lisbon. Interesting theme cruise: Frank Sinatra's films were shown... Frank would have been 100years old this year.

I have a soft spot for MOTS. She was the first ship we tried and we've sailed her 3 times. We liked her so much we brought BamaVol Jrs #2&3 the next time and Mrs BamaVol's father and his wife the 3rd time. I was sad to hear she was being transferred. I understand RCCL will replace her in MIA with another ship but it won't be the same.

Getting ready to book an NCL ship out of BCN for next year. Not yet sure which date. As much as we've enjoyed RCCL, we are now hooked on Freestyle cruising.
