We looove cruising. So, here's another one to apply to that "green" streak of yours:
We're planing on doing the RCCL's RADIANCE OF THE SEAS 14 day Valparaiso to Buenos Aires and after a one week stay in BA and RIO, get on the MSC OPERA for a transatlantic 19 days back to Germany. Am not sure about the MSC after a terrible experience a few years ago on the MSC Melody, but it's a new ship and, when we end the cruise, we can be home in about 2 hours with a rental car. This all happens in March & April 2009 and are amazingly inexpensive if booked correctly.
Ah, being retired is wonderful
Although looking backwards - was on Oceania recently and found a fellow FT couple on board after a discussion about a luggage misconnect issue. Nice folks, even though they do fly United....

It made me wonder what the point of all the roll calls were. Of the 21 CCers on our cruise, only the roll call OP & spouse are interested in meeting up. What's up with that?
I think there ended up being 26 CC'ers on our roll call. We met.... 7 of them. We had 3 CC events, the turnout for each was 5, 7, and 5. All the same people. Oh well, it just meant more treats from hawaii for other people we encountered along the way.
