We're looking into the westbound 14-night transatlantic cruise on Disney in Sept 2010.
My wife called and they said that all the concierge level suites are already sold out. I've read in previous non-related threads that possibly some travel agents may have purchased blocks of rooms? Any advice here?
Second: my wife has "heard" that the September cruises may have bad weather and the cruise could be very choppy? True?

Yes it can be very rough especially in late September. It is still hurricane season but it gets rougher as winter gets closer.
My husband was so sea sick and so bored on a transatlantic that he swore he would never do it again. Did it again and was sicker and more bored. Choppy is not a good enough word to describe the Atlantic when it gets rough and wild.
Do your research!
Disney trips sell out very early. Those suites are top priority for many people who book them as soon as the trip opens up to be sold. Disney has a very high sell out and occupancy rate.

Beware: we folks there do love Disney, so it will be mostly from big Disney fans.
We took one Disney cruise, and I agree about the possibility of rough waters. We had HUGE waves in March - 30 feet. The boat simply ROCKED.
From what I understand, the concierge suites do sell out first. They are pricey, but some folks are willing to pay that, and won't go any other way. So if it was sold out, I would honestly take it as yes, it's sold out.
