Flexperks Real-Time Rewards Confirmed Merchants:
Flexperks listed examples: "United, American, British Airways, Emirates, JetBlue, Southwest, Delta, Sun Country", however BEWARE that "non U.S. merchants" are not supposed to work (i.e. British Airway & Emirates). Supervisor has said that this list hasn't been updated to exclude non-US airlines. Note that it will be difficult to get any transactions covered if Real-time Rewards do not work automatically.

So, you'll need to use the card that was used to book the reward.

I had a travel redemption starting on May 19, and I bought a $25 United eGC that same day with my FlexPerks Visa. I just called to request a statement credit -- I had to bounce to a second CSR when the first didn't know what I was talking about. The second submitted the request, and said I'll hear back in 4-6 weeks. I'll post an update then.

In the past, some have reported success at booking a flight for, say $850, using 40,000 points and paying the $50 on your credit card. I tried to get a rep to do this for me today but they said no. Anyone know if they changed the policy? I will try calling more to see if I have any luck.

Use FlexPerks to Pay for AA Reservation "On Hold"?
I have an AA reservation "on hold." That particular routing and price are no longer available. Is there any way to use FlexPerks to pay for it?

Searched the thread but didn't spot it anywhere. Anyone have any luck buying $25 Jetblue gift cards and getting it reimbursed? Sounds like it works for other airlines....
