Flexperks Real-Time Rewards Confirmed Merchants:

Flexperks listed examples: "United, American, British Airways, Emirates, JetBlue, Southwest, Delta, Sun Country", however BEWARE that "non U.S. merchants" are not supposed to work (i.e. British Airway & Emirates). Supervisor has said that this list hasn't been updated to exclude non-US airlines. Note that it will be difficult to get any transactions covered if Real-time Rewards do not work automatically.

I've yet to be able to get it refunded on anything other than the USB card for the purchase. When you call they'll credit back the charge on the account.

So, you'll need to use the card that was used to book the reward.

I had a travel redemption starting on May 19, and I bought a $25 United eGC that same day with my FlexPerks Visa. I just called to request a statement credit -- I had to bounce to a second CSR when the first didn't know what I was talking about. The second submitted the request, and said I'll hear back in 4-6 weeks. I'll post an update then.

This exact same situation (bought a $25 United GC on the day I returned from a trip) worked fine for me a few months ago, it was refunded with no hassles.

Hmm, cool. I was thinking about buying an Alaska Airlines gift certificate. Wonder if it will work.

Got an email pitching Flex Perks with a 10,000 point bonus after spending $1,000 in 120 days.

I've had the Cash Plus and Carlson cards previously and cancelled them both. No interest in this one.

In the past, some have reported success at booking a flight for, say $850, using 40,000 points and paying the $50 on your credit card. I tried to get a rep to do this for me today but they said no. Anyone know if they changed the policy? I will try calling more to see if I have any luck.

Use FlexPerks to Pay for AA Reservation "On Hold"?

I have an AA reservation "on hold." That particular routing and price are no longer available. Is there any way to use FlexPerks to pay for it?

Searched the thread but didn't spot it anywhere. Anyone have any luck buying $25 Jetblue gift cards and getting it reimbursed? Sounds like it works for other airlines....

Is anyone finding any value on the redemptions?
The prices are super jacked up from what I am finding.

New public offer for Flex Perks AMEX version

Looks like it is now 20k Flex Perks after $500 spent. Not too shabby :-)
