New member - inquiring which credit card to get for first class ticket to thailand!
Hello,
I'm new on flyertalk and I was wondering what would be the best credit card for me to get to accrue enough points to travel to Thailand in First Class by the end of October this year.
Thanks!

Unless you'll spend quite considerable amounts of money between now and then, I doubt that you'll accumulate the miles for a First-class trip. Maybe business, but probably not First.
Another problem may be that by the time you have accumulated the miles, awards are no longer available. Take KE for instance. You'll need 285,000 miles (peak) for a round-trip between NA and Thailand. Even with a welcome bonus of 50k, you would still be short of 235k.

paulinetravels Welcome to FT
- What research have you done yourself on airline ffp's that could get the trip you want?
- from where?
- What ffp's are you a member of now? How many ff miles/points?
- What airline ffp’s are common transfer partners of your credit cards? (It does vary by the country of credit card issue)
- Are you are frequent spender and/or frequent flyer now?
- Have you flown international long haul in first/business class? It is not like most USA domestic first class
