There is a $90 AF and one cannot earn the 90K in one year unless one does $25K spending.
Best way to add to initial purchase bonus of 20K is to add AUs (and quite a few of them, too!).

I think this is a really good deal. Even if you go the route of making $15,000 of superfluous federal estimated tax payments, you still end up buying FC points at a very steep discount.
The math (or maths for the Brits):
$15,000 x 1.87% (e.g., payustax.com) = $280.50
Annual fee = $90
After-tax lost interest on free $15,000 loan to Uncle Sam = $100, tops.
Total cost: $470.50
Points:
20K initial bonus
50K bonus at $12K spend
5K bonus for additional cardmember
7.5K extra bonus for $15K spend
22.5K points for the $15K in purchases ($1=1.5 points)
Total: 105K points.
Cost per point: $0.00448. Not too many ways to grab points for less than half a cent, and that's with 100% of the spending on superfluous estimated tax payments!

I confirmed this the other day as well. I was concerned that the "Your card has arrived" documents made no mention of the 50k after $12K spend. The agent confirmed that my account is indeed coded for the 50K bonus.

Looks like some people do not get to the Manufactured Spend forum very often. A person can buy prepaid debit cards for $500 a pop and convert them into money orders or bill pay at very low cost with no float. Another no cost at all alternative is to open a checking and two savings accounts at $5,000 each with GTE Federal Credit Union and use those funds to pay off the credit card. BOA is one of the credit cards that treats that opening of a bank account as a purchase instead of a cash advance. This place also has 6 month CDs that at least pay 0.1 percent interest and those can also be opened with a credit card.

Called the spanish line, got a rep right away. She pulled up the app and I had been approved for $1k CL. Asked for a $5k line bc I have to spend at least $2k/mo to make the spend and she said the request takes 24hrs buy that it should be no problem based on my prior BOA cc's all being $5k and having a "great credit report".
Woo!
Don't forget everyone to add at least 2 authorized users for that 5k bonus!

FYI, I have churn this CC 3 times in the last 2 years. I have never had to closed the previous account before opening a new one. However, I have always closed accounts to avoid paying the AF the second year. After meeting the spending requirement on this app and doing some additional spending for the extra 7.5k miles, I should be sitting on a balance near 215,000 miles from all 3 apps.

I've always read this card is churnable. If so, I'd rather churn the regular 50K offer after a few months and have a total spend requirement of $4k rather than $15K for the same amount of miles. MS is wearing me out and I'm getting sick of the stress from methods dying/deteriorating every few weeks. Heh.
Gary says you don't even have to close the existing card b4 reapplying. Anyone have any experience to add?

Did a little searching but wasn't able to find anything, does anyone have a working link to the 50k card? The link I had says "The application you are requesting is currently unavailable."

I received my card yesterday and made the first spend. Will probably add the 2nd user today or sometime this week for the additional 5k. Spending should be completed in the next 4 weeks with natural spend.
I too think I will probably "tap out" at 93k and call it good. And look for ways to redeem these at that point. Unsure if the anniversary points are worth it, if they churn so easily.
