US Bank Reconsideration Line: 800-947-1444
Use this phone number to check your application status as well. US Bank does not send you an approval/denial email. Many data points show 8-10 business days for decision is normal. Add another 2-3 weeks after that to receive physical card.

U.S. Bank Fraud Department - 800-260-8469. This is the number to call if your card starts getting declined when you try to make a purchase.

Why is the balance due on my business card always shown as $0?
There are TWO account numbers linked to your business card: The card itself, which shows up in the same website account as any personal cards you may have. This will always show a $0 balance due.

There is a SECOND account - labeled the "Central Bill Account" - with its own account number. You must set up a separate website account with its own username and password to access the Central Bill Account. This is the account that will actually show the balance due and let you schedule a payment. Somewhere in the paperwork you received with the card or the first paper invoice, you should be able to find the Central Bill Account's number.

Setting up separate website account for business card:

These are the instructions that US Bank emailed me:

To enroll in Online Banking for your U.S. Bank Business account, start by going to usbank.com. You do not need a Personal Identification Number (PIN) in order to enroll.

Please follow these instructions to enroll in Online Banking to view or pay your account:

1. Click on the Enroll Now link on the right side of the screen.
2. Select the Business Accounts option.
3. View the Terms and Conditions and then select Enroll Now.
4. Select I do not have a U.S. Bank small business checking or savings account.
5. Select I am an authorized officer of a U.S. Bank Business Credit Card.
6. Complete Step 2 of 2.

Once you have successfully logged in, you will be able to view your business account in its entirety. When you are making a payment you will need to select the Accounts Payable account number.

Until the end of May 2015: "Bonus Award Night - Redeem Gold Points for two or more consecutive Award Nights and the last night is free. Exclusively for cardmembers.

From June 1 2015: free night after $10,000 spend in a year plus payment of annual fee. Note: can only be used in the U.S.

"New Account Bonus is not available to applicants who have had this Card or another Club Carlson credit card product within the last 12 months."

Forex fee is 3%

AFAIK, only Citibank has this ability to set cash advance to 0. And even so, sometimes some transactions would void the restriction and revert it to what the default would have been.

Chase has a fixed % of the CL as cash advance limit but could not set it to 0. So as BofA. At least there are 2 that I know of that there is no way to set it to 0.

Still, I do not see any particular value of setting the cash advance to 0, given that these days hardly anyone would use a CC to fund a saving account (so to earn interest spread like 6 or 7 years ago.)
I have all of my accounts showing a $0 CA allowance with Chase. I just did it via SM.

I applied for this card late Friday afternoon. I spoke with a rep who said that he would have someone from underwriting look at my credit and make a decision before they closed Friday.

I still haven't heard back. I'm now wondering how soon before I should go ahead and apply for the other cards I wanted to get on my first mini AOR? Only 3-4 total cards including this one. I only have 1 other app in last year which is the Barclay Arrival from 2 months ago.

Thanks all.

I'd like it to be set to $0 or some low number so that the card cannot be used for cash advance purposes. I would rather have a cash advance transaction be declined than to have it go through and pay the extra fees.

Troubling, but wish there were more details.

If the card is being fraudulent to get cash advance, you are not responsible for any fee related to the fraudulent usage.

Unless you are afraid you yourself would / could use the card to get cash advance... If so, you have a much larger issue to deal with, though setting the cash advance limit to 0 might be a passive way to deal with it.

In this case, Chase has changed its policy from a couple years ago. I never bother to ask it to be set in 0 again when most arbitrage opportunities are gone.

Many people in this forum have 2 accounts - one from the personal card and one from the business card. In fact, CC claims only one CC could be associated with a Club Carlson account hence each CC has its own Club Carlson account. Some folks were able to merge the 2 Club Carlson accounts but many did not or chose not to.

I wonder what Club Carlson would do to this type of duplicate accounts. It would be a huge uproar if Club Carlson just shuts people's accounts because they are duplicate but are opened by US Bank and Club Carlson themselves!

Applied yesterday, got instant approval. But application status line says "under processing". Any idea what's the matter?

Applied yesterday and received instant approval, did not freeze credit reports, ~775 credit score, 1 hard inquiry in last 6 months.

Assuming minimum spend is met, will bonus points post when first statement closes, or does it take longer?

I really want to pull the trigger without going through the hassle (or what I consider ID theft risk) of freezing. 780 fako score, no inquiries in 9 months, 4 in 18 months. But, I don't want to waste a pull, if all it would have taken was freezing.

Our bonus points posted a few days after the statement closed.

Data Point - I was approved for the card without freezing the two bureaus. That being said, my last credit card app was for one card a year ago. I've never done an AoR.

Question: I just called the US Bank and asked them to set my cash advance limit to $0, but the rep said it couldn't be done. I asked if she could change it to $1, but she said no changes at all. Is she mistaken? Is this a call back and try again situation? Thanks!
When I asked they said the lowest they can set it is 10% of CL. Only way is to lower CL but can't get it to $0.

You'll be fine. Freezing is for people with lots of inquiries/new accounts.

Applied without freezing accounts and was approved for the lesser Platinum Card after 3 biz days. Only 1 inquiry in last few months was Barclay Arrival.

What are my options now? I've read earlier in the thread and it doesn't seem that they will reconsider upgrading the card? Also saw that someone got the 50,000 points, used them, and avoided the annual fee all within a month. How is this possible?
