Business Expenses and Earning Miles
Hi there,
I'm looking for the best way to maximize my mile earning ability through business expenses. I consistently have a minimum of $10k per month of CC expenses for business, and wanted to find the best way to utilize miles earning as well as status (if possible)
Ideally I'd like an airline rewards program that will let me earn status by getting miles through credit spending if that's possible. I primarily fly out of LAX, and generally try to avoid United.
As for personal expenses, I'm still churning as usual, but figured it would be best to build status with business expenses and do minor purchases if I need to meet minimum spends.
Or if there's something better I should be doing, any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

If status is your goal, look at the Delta Amex. Get a personal Delta Amex Platinum and a business Delta Reserve. Put $50K on the Plat for 20K MQMs and 70K miles and $60K on the Reserve for 30K MQMs and 90K miles. From $110K of spending per calendar year, you'll get 50K MQMs (enough for no status to Gold, Silver to Platinum, or Platinum to Diamond) and 140K SkyPesos.
Of course, the RDMs you are picking up aren't as worthwhile as UA or AA miles, but if status is your goal ...
Most people here would go with the Ink Bold and its great earnings potential for United miles ... while you say you want to avoid UA, they have a lot of partners
