UK consumer protections and pre paid credit cards
I was asked this by a friend but was at a loss as to the answer.
He has no credit cards but wants to get a pre paid card to make a trip he is doing easier and he can manage his finance
We know that buying things via credit card gives various consumer protections in the UK - such as liability when things go wrong - but do these protections apply to the pre-paid cards that you can buy and top up rather than the 'properly' issued cards?
