Some of us still earn Delta miles with this card or may want information about past or grandfathered terms and conditions.

Please do not spread panic about miles not posting until after the 10th of each month.
In most cases, miles post in the evening on the 5th of each month if it's a business day, or else the evening of the next business day. "Miles post for purchases made between (inclusive) 5th day of prior month to 4th day of current month."

Nope, we're gunning for a few international J redemption, the minimum I would need for her to book something from her account is 125k. I'm just shy of 500k myself, end goal is 610k to make the magic happen for us both. We will be looking to book by Dec/Jan so there just isn't enough time for me to start trying to accumulate on her behalf.

    Thanks for the suggestion, though!

For those of you that upgraded to the Signature Checking account, how long did it take to become effective? I upgraded end of April/start of May and was just dinged for the $95 fee instead of the $75 fee which is associated with the Signature acct.

    Curious what others have experienced

They told me when I called that the change was immediate, though I did not have a way to prove that by a current fee situation.

Same. I called in and my upgrade was immediate (I had previously transferred enough to meet the signature minimum balance). I don't believe I've seen the fee just yet but could be wrong.

I mean I saw it change in my online banking the next day, but haven't had miles post since then. I'll probably send them a message asking about it.

So I figured it out. According to the Skymiles debit card T&Cs on the website they calculate the fee based on the account status at the "end of the month prior to the fee being billed". So since I changed on like May 2 or 3, it charged the fee as of me being on the other account at April 30. Oh well. As long as my miles post correctly (as in getting 4k/month) I'll probably leave it alone. Not worth inviting human eyes to my acct over $20.
