Some of us still earn Delta miles with this card or may want information about past or grandfathered terms and conditions.

Please do not spread panic about miles not posting until after the 10th of each month.
In most cases, miles post in the evening on the 5th of each month if it's a business day, or else the evening of the next business day. "Miles post for purchases made between (inclusive) 5th day of prior month to 4th day of current month."

Gonna go read around on the site and be a guinea pig for it and pay a bill. Will report back. If anyone else has done it, please post data points if you earned Delta miles! Would be too good to be true to just bill pay cc's online w/it for miles haha.

In essence I could pay my mortgage and get points and also could I pay my Amex and get points for that? That seems amazing!
The bill pay that earns points, as far as I can tell, is simply using your ST debit card for things like your utility bill (if utility co allows cc payments). Or for Cable bills. Not mortgage payments unless your mortgage co allows payment by cc or debit. Most do not.

Think of it this way: anywhere you can use a cc to bill pay or purchase, you can use your ST card and likely get points.

Re: Skymiles for bill pay via ST chat support:

"x712xdamx: If I pay bills with that, does the bill pay earn Delta Skymiles too?
Andrea: The bill pay through your online banking?
    x712xdamx: Correct
Andrea: The bill pay is linked with your account number, not the card. It would not be able to earn points. I'm sorry."

I was under the impression miles posted by the end of business day on the 4th of each month unless it was a weekend.

    Is my assumption wrong?

My miles didn't post last night...

You are correct. I'm actually glad to hear yours didn't post bc that likely means a system wide delay rather than a shut down. Plus, I haven't had any notification of any issue.

    Anyone else?

After the Bank Direct deal became uneconomic, ST and Delta started delaying their mile credits for a few days so people would still have a reason to come on FT each month to ask what the problem is.

I am very confused. I am short by ~1300 miles this month, and I am not sure why. No transactions add up to that amount.

How did people have found out if they've been shut down by ST?
