As an additional resource for these cards see this thread: Alaska Airlines Visa

PERSONAL CARDS
30k mile offer, $75 AF, $1k spend: https://www.bankofamerica.com/credit...s-credit-card/
+2k miles if done with onboard paper application

30k mile offer with $100 credit and fee for companion ticket waived the first year, $75 AF, $1k spend: https://secure.bankofamerica.com/app...aignid=4020594
link no longer working

30k mile offer with $100 credit, $75 AF, $1k spend: https://secure.bankofamerica.com/app...aignid=4009277

If you are applying for a personal Alaska card, and are not an expert on applying for Alaska cards STOP, don't apply yet.
Instead, read this post. Doing that first may save you a huge amount of wasted time and frustration.

A few people in the Alaska Airlines forum have in the past received personally targeted, single-use links for a 50k offer
when they opt-in to "Partner Offers" in their Mileage Plan account preferences.

=======================================

BUSINESS CARDS

30k mile offer, $75 AF, $1k spend, no foreign transaction fees:
https://www.bankofamerica.com/smallb...-credit-card//

Note: There are two different earning formats for the business card, which you choose when you apply:
  • $50 per company, $25 per card (Business Level Earning Plan)
    • $0 per company, $75 per card (Individual Level Earning Plan)

To avoid billing confusion later, make sure you choose the Individual Level Earning Plan if you are not going to have employee cards under the same account as your account.

Also see the Applying for Business Credit Cards [Consolidated] thread (not-BofA-specific) for general tips on applying for business cards.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Reconsideration # (for personal cards):

1-800-354-0401 (8am-7pm ET Mon-Fri) direct, referring agent from another BofA line called it their "credit department"

1-866-811-4108 from the Alaska Airlines Visa thread post 949

Business card Recon Line:
866-695-6598 (8-7 EST M-F from what I was told)

Biz card status line: 888 663 6262
Biz Card credit analyst line: 877 665 5022, 877 665 5023 (seems to be non-working number)

Check application status online here:
https://www.bankofamerica.com/credit...status-form.go

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Credit Enquiries for Personal cards come from BofA. Enquiries for business cards come from FIA. Credit bureaus usually merge enquiries from the same requester made on the same day. Enquiries from BofA and FIA will not be merged.

When do the initial bonus miles post? You will get the miles after the statement closes for the cycle in which you meet your minimum spend. Usually AS points show up the Sunday evening after your statement closes, but sometimes it takes an additional week.

If there's a statement credit, when does it post?
It seems to be batch-processed. It will post automatically. Can be on the same statement or the next statement. It does not appear to be based on the statement close date.

I found the thread here

http://www.doctorofcredit.com/which-...credit-report/

Definitely will be looking into this more. Since Citi and Amex are stubborn about Exp, I still have Chase, Barc, and US that pull Trans where I live so literally any reports I can get on Equifax are a huge benefit. Thanks!

I also went through the long phone process to go from the whatever version to the Signature. I did not lower my credit line, but I got instant approved for $12K Signature line on my second go around. I will lower that and then go again here soon. I also had no problem getting a business version approved.

It seems like once you are in you are in. At least in my short experience for this.

i am just saying that even BofA pulls from the SAME bureau, EX somehow does not combine the 2 pulls done on the SAME day with identical information to the entity that pulled it. This has not happened in the past with any bank.

Account Type Date Opened Balance Reported By
BANK OF AMERICA Credit Card Nov 22, 2015 $75 Equifax
BK OF AMER Credit Card Nov 22, 2015 $75 TransUnion

Is this common with Bank of America?
Pulls from 2 bureaus is not the same things a 2 pulls!

No bank that I've heard of adds up pulls from different bureaus. They pick a bureau and then count the pulls on that bureau. If the pick another bureau and count the pulls on that bureau too, they don't add the two up, they just might pick whichever one results in a bigger count. (But the result is the same that would have happen had they just counted the pulls on whichever bureau had the bigger count to begin with!)

However, what you just quoted CreditKarma showing is account openings, not pulls! Pulls don't show balances on them!

So did you really even get pulls at two bureaus? I don't see the evidence of it!

Received a letter dated Dec. 1st, ( just got back from vacation) telling me about the 90 days and $1k minimum purchase needed by Dec. 17th for the $100 statement.
Went to account and it's already there.
Am I safe to apply for a 2nd card now since 90 days have lapsed?

Haven't done it yet. Will do it soon and update the outcome.

UPDATE
EX told me even though everything I saw on the report is identical, in their internal records, the codes of the entities made the inquiries were different, signaling they came from 2 different dept of BofA. The only way to get it remove is to contact BofA. Since these were from March, and they have not hindered me getting new cards this year, they should be even less significant once they pass 12 months, I will not be bothered to contact BofA.

Fwiw, the inquiries were related to a double app on personal card. Since apps were pending, called recon and a nice lady quickly processed the first app at 15K then told me she could give the second app at 5K. Before I was even able to say thank you, she changed her mind, claiming since you had such good credit, I would give you 15K on the second card also. My guess is, the "duplicate" HP was from the recon lady.

Recieved a letter from a business app for my SO requesting company address, mailing address, proof of ownership, verification of legal structure. Fico is 800 with a couple cc's, any tips on how to get around this? She sells hand made goods.

Does anyone know if BoA allows you to apply for a separate card for each business as Chase does?

Got approved for Platinum Visa. If I lower my other credit line (Signature) and add to NEW one, will I get 25,000 points offer?

Suggestions/Tips?

Thanks!

I'd wait for the points to post before lowering your credit line.

You mean thunder should wait for the 5000 miles from Platinum to post first?

Thunder, you should have reduced the credit limit on your existing card before you applied for the new card. Now it's much trickier.
