Data point: Using link in original post, I applied and was approved on 8/10, card received on 8/16. Will wait until I meet minimum spend to update on 80K bonus points.

Yes you can. My wife/mom/dad all got second bonus. We all applied for this card in '11 and again in '13. I'm waiting for my turn to apply for it. I'm thinking about doing it now since I didn't apply for any personal Chase cards on my last churn a month ago.

However, it's been conventional wisdom that you often can churn a Chase card after it's been closed for 24 months.
Can you tell us when the 2011 cards were closed, and 2013 ones were applied for? This might help us narrow down at least the window for possibly getting this card a second time.
Thanks.

Hmm... I've had my card for over a month now but I'm still not Platinum Elite. Anyone else in the same boat?

Wait 1-2 week after your statement closes. Then give them a call.
My statement haven't closed yet so I can't tell you. I'm still waiting also.

80K link in post #1 still works -- applied today
My wife applied through the 80K link on post #1 today (the one with the dodgy looking landing page, no bonus terms) and was instantly approved. We called Chase just a few minutes after and confirmed the terms:
* 80K bonus points after 1K spend in 3 months
* Free night each year when annual fee is due
* Annual fee waived 1st year
* Platinum status for the life of the card
I'd applied for the card successfully myself in August of 2012. Amazed the link still works a year later. Only difference in terms is that I got the points on 1st purchase. Fortunately post #1 mentions the "new" 1K spend requirement.
Thanks again FT.
