50,000 ThankYou Points for New Citi Premier Card

Sign up bonus of 50,000 Thank you points til June 30th then will drop to 20,000 sign up. $125 annual fee first year. This is $665 of travel with the travel incentives.

No foreign transaction fee.

This card offers flight points similar to the old Premier Pass card.

I put the other info and application on my blog.

Where do you see that annual fee is waived?
It shows me fee of $125 with no mention of "waived for first year"

See these threads for information about this card and the ThankYou Points rewards program.

The card launched in December 2010. Be sure to fully understand the Flight Points feature which can effectively double the value of points earned through spending, but be aware that Flight Points cannot be redeemed until matched by spending:

Points are worth $0.0133 each if redeemed for airfare:

There is also a discount when buying air tickets with the card:

But, when i click on Apply now on his blog, then "apply now" on citicards.com page and then terms and conditions it just shows following:

"Annual Fee: $125 for each primary cardmember.
$50 for each authorized user."

Annual Fee is $125

Citi originally told the affiliate marketing company no fee first year then called and changed the info to the correct $125 annual fee. I posted with the original information and they then contacted me asking me to correct.

Darn this spoils the deal. Quite a high annual fee.

Thanks Ingy!
$660 worth of tickets for BIS miles for $125 sounds reasonable...especially when one like me finds it hard to get bumped!

Bonus points are redeemable when earned, the same as points earned by spending. It's only the Flight Points (earned by flying) which are peculiar.

I received a Targeted mailing for the card yesterday which specifically waives the $125 fee, provides the 50,000 points, etc.
So you may want to wait to see if you receive the mailing promotion itself.
