recovery elites

This would make it a lose lose situation for CO. I highly doubt that they will extend this offer.
That being said, competition is what drives the market. IF DL or AA or UA starts doing funky things with EQMs, then it is possible that this program would get a new breath of life.
The airlines might want to think about 'recovery elites'. For me I'm a plat from last year. I've only flown 12,000eqm this year... no travel... Now that things are starting to perk up at my firm and I'm expecting six NYC-LHR r/t by October. I love CO... but if AA or DL wants to extend DEQM... I'm there.

I wish I could remember where I saw the article, but a few weeks ago I swear I read something from American Airlines saying that even with the DEQM offer, they expected to have *fewer* Elites over the next year because travel in general has fallen off so much.
Personally, I had a Paris vacation planned anyway during the DEQM time, which made for a very nice 20,000 EQMs. That combined with a YVR mileage run and a bunch of DFW quick hops for work make me secure in getting Gold this year (I tend to easily make Silver but struggle for Gold).
So far all of my DEQM flights have posted (EWR to IAH, SAN, TPA, SEA, LAS, IAH) and with one final to SJU this weekend, I'll be GOLD for next year. The other 'almost' unbelievable fact was that I am at 100% EUA with CO this year--including my notification today of my upcoming EWR-SJU M/R this Sat . Not sure if it is the lower loads, or the flights I picked for my quasi M/R's-- but I haven't sat in the back in all year (and at very cheapo fares) !
I've registered for this program back in April and assumed to be enrolled. Now checked EQM for May-June flights and the double miles never posted. Called customer service and they claim that no record of my enrollment shows up. I have over 20k EQM this year already and would've become silver with EQM for sure... Am I out of luck or what are my options?
I probably could've relaized the EQm not doubled earlier but i had really crazy summer schedule and never bordered to check or assumed they'd post additional EQM later....
