CO has immediate turn EWR-HAM tickets on sale for 412 all in for Easter weekend. Earns approximately 15,200 EQMs under the promotion.

Great News. My wife and I are both Plats and MMers. Business is way down and I have been hunting for a mileage run, figureing one of us would need ~25,000 EQMs. As it happens, we are going to DUB next week, and possibly back to DUB again in 3 weeks, and Paris in early June, as well as a side trip to DEN in May. The Double promotion will help a LOT, as well as keep us on CO metal.

I can't see how they wouldn't. All EQMs count according to the details of the program.

This is awesome, has CO ever had a 2x EQM promo before?

Figures that I probably flew one of last flights in the CO system not to qualify for 2x EQM's (CO634 LAX-CLE last night)

Ooohhh, sorry. I flew a total of 1578 miles yesterday morning (PHL-IAH-BTR), too . . .

But I get to fly those same 1578 home tomorrow, I guess!

double EQM 2x base miles or 2x 500 minimum?

If I fly CLE-BWI, i get 500 minimum miles and 500 EQM... but the base is 316 miles.

with this 2X promo, will the award be 2 x 500eqm, or will it be 2 x 316eqm?

the fine print "says Double Elite Qualifying Miles in this offer is defined as two times the actual base flight miles posted to your account"...

but the "actual base miles" and the "miles posted to my account" are not the same thing.

Seems like EVERY promo has confusing fine print!

Looks like Bigbird090_dad is going to become Silver elite next year after we return from DEL (via EWR) in April! At least something good will come out of it!

I'll probably fly out to HAM on Good Friday, spend Saturday there, then fly home on Sunday. With the flight getting back to EWR before noon, I'll be able to join the family for an Easter dinner then get some work done ahead of the workweek.

And most importantly, be 15280 EQMs closer to renewing my Gold Elite status.

I also wonder whether it would still hold true if one uses a discount code (for meetings or the like) on a published fare, or if it has to be the un-discounted fare.

What about if used with a BF 2for1 deal under the Chase CO credit card?

I would guess that you would get 500x2 for regular EQM's, then 316x2 for the double EQM promo.

I read it as doubling the base EQMs on any fare that earns EQMs.
