Best Memory of DO IV?

I know mine was flying the flight simulator, something I will never forget. It was quite an unreal experience to fly a 757 through take-off, landing, and quite a bit of other situations.

Our flight instructor Troy was very professional, fun, and actually cared that we had a great time.

This was an awesome weekend, and only sad that I don't fly next till next Sunday.

How to pick just one???

Probably CO9920 this morning, though climbing in the overhead bin tonight is on the list.

For me, very surprising. Not about the planes or CO, but that so many of you came up to me and asked how I've been doing after surgery.

Thank you, all of you, FTers. I was quite moved.

rkkwan, I was hoping to meet you tonight and ask, but never found you. Also know that we (CLEHillBilly, WindWalker, and a few others) were talking about you at the Sheridan Hot Tub Party and how none of us found you to ask you. Glad to hear you have great memories and know that we all care about you!

As for the best memory, it's hard to pick just one. But I'd have to say that just meeting all of you and putting faces to handles has been an amazing experience and I look forward to seeing all of you again soon!

Best was the comeback win in the trivia quiz bowl to take home 250,000 OnePass miles - I'm still in a little shock over that.

CO9920 was absolutely amazing as well - I will never forget that flight.

Was just so great meeting so many FTers this weekend, and reconnecting with other FTers. I knew CO would put on a great event, but I didn't know how great. Many kudos to Cigarman, CO Insider and all the other CO employees that went above and beyond in putting together an experience I'll cherish for the rest of my life.

can't decide what was more memorable... Jumping down the slide at the In Flight Training Center or climbing all over that 737 last night. I met alot of nice people. This was a great weekend! Nursing a hangover now rehydrating now at the club....

Mr

My best memory is after meeting so many of you, my years of lurking need to come to an end.

That and sliding out of the simulator at the in-flight training center.

Here is a movie of the slide. http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/v...=1077152896687

As this is my first DO, I was just soaking it all in.....what a blast I had!
Loved Inflight training and the trainers....sliding down the emergency slide was fun.
I can't thank Continental enough for putting on an event like this......Never have I ever been able to have so much interaction with an executive of a major corporation like I/we did this weekend......this was priceless.
The Hangar party was absolutely fabulous and I thank all the employees for coming.....sfogate, it was a pleasure to chat with you outside the hangar last night!

BTW: If anyone is leaving between noon and 2pm, a few of us are meeting at the E prez club for a departure drink.

Flight 9920 - it still hasn't completely sunk in that yes, that really happened! It was just amazing. We're a group that flies - a lot - and they managed to make it special.

But the whole event was terrific, beginning to end, and I greatly enjoyed meeting people, mingling, and drinking a lot of G&Ts to get rid of my champagne headache.

It is tough to pick just one, but the look on everyone's face when we walked into Whataburger at 11:30PM and saw two police officers working the grill and serving people along with the other Whataburger employees was a pretty good one.

Oh, and colpuck absolutely losing his mind over a joke I made that just wasn't that funny, which of course caused me to lose it. And sbm12 looking at us like we were moon people.
