Thanks.

I think the computers will get together and figure it out.

This seals the deal
I've been on the fence for a while about whether to keep my Amex Plat card or dump it and go with this. I had been waiting to find out what would happen post-*A transition with club access, but I am going to make the leap and get this card.
Thanks for letting us in on the info Scott. You're the best.
How so? Amex plat gives you access to many more clubs and elite status at hotel chains and concierge travel service, etc. And besides it doesn't involve Chase, the worst bank in the world for credit cards! We've been fooled before by these Chase offers, I wouldn't trust them to honor their commitments. CO and Chase usually blame each other for not doing so in my experience.
You loose AAdmirals clubs, but only when you fly AA. This card gets you CO, NW and DL (currently) whenever you fly. If you fly overseas, tere are more lounges you can get into with PC membership than AMEX plat.
You do get SPG Gold wit AMEX Plat, Hyatt Plat with PPMC.
I've never had problems with my other Chase cards or Chase Auto financing, buy I get YMMV. But I do love AMEX.
Wow...as the DL/NW merger continues to gut the FFP, I'm really inclined to get a Chase card later this year and make CO my second carrier. Just want to see what goes on between UA and CO...

Oh well. Sorry to get us off topic. ... back to your regularly scheduled CO show.
In case you didn't kow, even after you earn AvisFirst status, you need to register yourself on the AvisFirst.com website before you start accruing the free weekend rentals.
Programs: CO Silver Leisure Elite, I don't remember the last time I flew *A or OW, Hyatt Plat/Avis PC (PPC)

Correction - You lose AC when you fly AA, but you get CO/NW/DL whenever you want and even more when you fly. The full PC membership is what spurred me today - I take the commuter train out of Union Station in DC, and always end up arriving 30 min early. In a couple weeks, I'll be able to relax in the Club Acela while I wait for the train to arrive in the station.

The DC Club Acela is rather spartan. They've really started to skimp on the snacks of late, and the decor is about 20 years out of date. Nevertheless, it does allow one to board ahead of the crowd

That's all correct, texd. Just be sure to call the special number for lifetime Presidents Club members (800.346.0123), and we'll be able to get your WorldCard account upgraded to the Presidential Plus for the discounted annual fee.
How did I not know about the discounted rate for lifetime PClub members? I thought I knew everything!
Hmm. I happen to be one of the original CO Chase Visa Signature cardholders. I wonder if it's that easy to switch over to the Presidential Plus World MasterCard or if it'll be like a new application?
Also, has anyone done any detailed analysis of the differences between the personal card and the business card? At first glance it looks like the business card lacks the Avis President's club membership but includes double miles on gas, dining, and office supplies.
