I have now been in one of the 757's fresh off a BF flight.
Th biggest issue I'd have on a TATL is that the foot rest is just a foot prop, it barely comes up at all. There is plenty leg room, recline is decent the locking winged headrest is better than the 767, but the footrest is just horrible.
You have to find the lever under the back of the armrest and while holding the switch pull the footrest up and let the lever lock. The seat is very comfy for sleeping after you do that maneuver. The electronic footrest button will allow you to bring the footrest down from there, but not up after a certain point!

hrmmmmm good to know now! Thanks for the tip FT is really excellent
Though this is a minority opinion, I like the 757 BF since it reminds me of the upper level on a 747.
I flew recently BE on Delta in a 767, and they had 6 seats across rather than CO`s 5 seats. I guess either the seats are wider or the aisles are wider?

Don't forget flight depature time, that's key if you're like me in trying to sleep...regardless of cabin.
I was on the 5:30pm flight EWR-ARN last year and could not sleep in BF becaue it was simply too early. An hour from ARN is when I was finally ready for sleep
I do much better on either the day flight to LHR or a late night depature.
