Does paying for checked bag at OLCI speed airport process?

I checked two friends in for their flight tomorrow AM. Neither has status on CO, they are on the same PNR, and each has a checked bag. I noted one checked bag for each of them and entered the required Credit Card info. Their Boarding Passes do not indicate that their Checked Bag Fee has been Paid. The system was unable to print an eTicket receipt and gave an error message.

What will happen when they arrive at the airport in he AM?

Should they use Curbside Checkin or get on the line?

Dot Com just stores the bag and credit card information until the customer actually checks the bag in at the airport. The credit card is not actually charged till then. This gives the customer an opportunity to modify/change the number of bags to be checked and/or the form of payment.

When the customer uses the kiosk to check in the bag at the airport there are two options that come up on the screen. One is to "Modify" and the other is "Information is Correct".

When "Information is Correct" is selected the rest of the transaction goes very quickly.
