Cancelled Onepass credit card but still got two president club passes?

I cancelled my Chase CO card 8 months after receiving it, but they still mailed me the two free president club passes after a year. Should I call chase and verify the card was indeed canceled? Or is this customary?

I got the same 1+ year after cancellation. As long as you did not receive a bill for annual fee, I would not worry about it.

You could try using the card to buy something (assuming you didn't already toss it).....if the cops show up, the card's probably canceled

Slightly OT...

I just rec'd two PC one-day passes. Since I access PC via AMEX Plat card already, I'd like to give them to a friend(s). "Non-transferrable" is printed on back, but no info is printed on it identifying who it was awarded to. Will PC receptionist request to see the associated Chase CO MC or otherwise verify in any manner the awardee?

Thanks...

Now I think I can derive some value from the PC passes. Now I have to figure out how to use the "valuable" discount certificates, which might as well say I can't use them on days that have an "y" in 'em. I guess I can let my company use them, because I almost can guarantee I won't on my own dime, considering the onerous stipulations....

Nope. Unless you have two passes and give one to them.

I got a bit of grief for not thinking about my 1yo daughter as a person and trying to enter with her and my wife with two passes. She was nice and let us in, and now I know better.

Anyone under the age of 2 can enter freely with the Chase Presidents Club passes.
