I think JS got a lot of value when he asked the question about allowing cell phone use in-flight. That was a solid majority who said no. I believe that was an impromptued question he asked and he got an instant answer to that. He then knew they didn't have to spend the money investigating it or implementing it and wondering if the investment would pay off.

I looked at all of the Fri-Sun Feb. date pairs earlier today. I think the spread was somewhere around $70/person between PHL and EWR. That would certainly be enough to sway me.

The 1st annual OnePass golf tourney cost 5k miles and it was just to the CO customers who were local to IAH. I dunno if this was (or is still being) done. I just got my Elite status back this year, the last couple of years I wasnt elite so I wasnt invited. But back in 05 I was invited to this tourney.

Some have come in on Thursday evening. At DO's #1 and #2, some had dinner with Cigarman at Morton's in downtown Houston - but no Thursday informal dinner for DO #3.
What you didn't get invited to the secret informal thursday dinner at do 3? Shame on me!
Actually I met with CO that night to go over stuff!

WOW! What a hint (if indeed that is what it was...would be a major coincidence if it wasn't)

Ahh... true.. true.. But when I met Cigarman last year, he didn't really look THAT old.. which probably threw me off. Amazing what anti-wrinkle cream can do these days. .
