That's what I meant. If you had other plans (on CO) and wanted to change to go to the DO, I remember them waiving the change fee in the past.

I hope so, that would rock! It would make sense. These days logic and airline don't belong in the same sentence so i would be pleasantly surprised.

Well if it is the weekend of the 6th-8th, i may be out on my very first CO DO since my birthday is the 7th so Houston or Charleston.....decisions, decisions

The Mom is in - told her about it after she landed from LIS this afternoon. She's probably gonna book tomorrow or Friday.

I'd wait until the date is officially announced. Or at least keep re-booking with a new 24 hour hold window until it is.

This is a good point, but do we have any reason to think that the date is fluid?

No. I'm just somewhat conservative when it comes to booking non-refundable tickets for a specific event when the event organizer hasn't explicitly stated the date of said event.

Last CO MEET, I flew in from PHL. Unfortunately, had to fly in using US (I needed the last flight out on a Friday night). I flew back using CO. This time, I live in Midtown.

I'll be interested in this MEET.

Eh, can't argue that point. Quid pro quo, I would think that you are not giving up your LIM seats just yet.

IMHO it would be the right thing to do, in the name of great customer service to allow you to change your ticket with no charge for the do.
