I fly Midway a lot for business but it is usually from RDU to BDL, PHL, DCA and a few FL flights. Therefore, I am usually on a CRJ. Never have done a long haul out west on Midway. Service is nice and friendly in coach. Some amenities as hot towels, mints. Never have been in FC on Midway so I do not know about that service. RDU is the hub and they are getting more 737s which are used to BOS, LGA, out west and FL. I reactivated my Onepass account after AA dropped Midway.

I have flown Midway DCA-MSY changing planes in North Carolina en route. The largest plane they had then was a Fokker 100 and I am not sure if anything changed. The planes are smaller with 2-2 configuration but seats were leather and food was okay. I had mixed them up with Midwest Express so I was disappointed.

However, I welcome them into the OnePass program and always enjoy seeing a new airline with transcon service. I believe they are still offering double miles but I wonder if base miles count towards Onepass elite qualification?

I was wondering the same thing. If the double promo counted towards elite miles i would diffently do a mileage run bdl-rdu-lax for 199/rt
