New Fare Classes (Domestic Only)
Just got off the phone with a very nice agent, who explained today's NEW fare classes to me:
New Classes Showing Up Today:
N, U, I, W are new revenue coach fare classes. W used to be EasyPass coach, but is now for sale. T is still a valid coach revenue class, but no longer showing up on ITN. O is a new class for deeply discounted
Y, sold from Orbitz for example (and not seen on ITN).
Changes To Fare Classes:
Z is now deeply discounted BusinessFirst. The agent had no idea why it is showing up on domestic markets; may disappear soon??
R class is ALL domestic upgrades, whether EUA or mileage (and cannot be seen).
G is Standard Y reward class, M is Standard Y for Elites. E is standard F reward class, P is Easypass F reward (she had no class for Elite F reward). EG is F reward with OFFSHORE origination (for example, pax originating HNL-EWR, but not EWR-HNL). EG is NOT Elite Standard F.
Please keep in mind this came from one agent, in the domestic market only.. But she was reading off a new sheet received for changes going into effect TODAY, and seemed extremely informative. She thinks this simplifies the system; I think it further baffles me LOL.. Take it for what its worth.

Would anyone with the old CO alphabet chart care to update it?
