Yes, it definitely does, e.g.:Originally Posted by Vulcan

[QUOTE=KVS]Yes, it definitely does
Well, I can't seem to find them, even using Amadeus. Or Apollo ITN/UA.
Also, are there other hidden fare bucket codes on Continental? And are they the same on COPA?

Well, the R class on CO can still be accessed via Amadeus. As for other codes, there is a [CO Award/Upgrade classes] link located in the 1st post of this thread...Originally Posted by landrew

But remember everyone, fare class "R" cannot happen on int'l routes, right?

It can happen, it just isn't used for EUA. I have no idea what it is used for on such itineraries.Originally Posted by AviationFreak

R class on intl. segments is the upgrade to BF bucket. Also, when R is available, standard BF awards are highly likely to be available.

Am I missing something?
The problem with Amadeus is you can't limit the airline you are searching, so there are plenty of routes it comes up with besides CO, which means it might not display every combination. What you can do is search the connections on Worldspan limiting the search to just CO. Then search each leg out on Amadeus to look for R (if thats what you are trying).Originally Posted by carpboy
Using Amadeus no CO connections are being seen, say for PHL-JAX as an example. Non-stops to/from hubs are found.Am I missing something?

I've tried a number of city pairs and it seems the most it returns is 34 flights, counting a connection as two flights. It also seems to be (somewhat) Star biased despite being told 'all'. It doesn't seem to be an issue of 'plenty of other routes', it just seems to be not showing much other routes. In the PHL-JAX example, except the lone (why just 1???) DL and FL flight, everything is CLT and IAD (also 4 NS's). I wouldn't call that a plethora of 'other routes'.Originally Posted by cobrax333

cobrax333 is correct -- you can't limit the results to a specific airline with the Amadeus method. What you would need to do is split your request into 2 or more parts (depending on how many connecting points there are). For example, for PHL-JAX, you would need to request availability for PHL-CLE, and then for CLE-JAX:Originally Posted by carpboy
