Movies on CO's AVOD

Does anyone know if CO lists the entertainment options, titles wise, on the 757 and 777 AVOD. I have flights coming up and just curious what they have on board. I know what they offering, but what specifically what movies and tv shows. I can't find it listed anywhere, where as most airlines show what is playing on the flights.

CO does not list them. There is a list in the FAQ that I last updated ~6 months ago when I was on a CO 752. Nothing more current than that published, I'm afraid.

This sounds like a nice project to do on an airplane, I got lots of hours upcoming and will try to make a full list of movie, not audio, way too much!

I like that on the 772, they have a significant number of foreign movies. Last December, I watched a Japanese movie, and I hadn't cried that hard for years... :P

777 AVOD movies list

This list was sent to me after I said I'd compile the list by a person with access to the complete listing I did not do the complete list, but I did verify it and make it a bit more readable.

Cool thanks.

btw..does anyone know why don't both the 757's and 777 have the larger 250 movies...etc system instead of just the 777. Are they two different systems of AVOD?

I was wondering the same thing myself

Just out of curiosity: are all the selections the exact same, no matter what the route? I ask because I saw that most of the Harry Potter movies had a hebrew subtitle option, but what good would that do on a non-TLV route??

And last question? Why are they showing "Up in the Air?" I mean it was a good movie and all, but with all the editing out of AA and Admiral's Club..., it ends up losing a lot of its flavor

I suspect that route-specific content loading is prohibitively expensive. And when you are programming that many movies per month, the license fees for switching out content on a monthly basis are also prohibitively expensive. The content is not simply pulled off a shelf and loaded onto a server. There is a great deal of work which goes into creating the files to CO's specs.....and every airline has a different set of specs.

I love watching English movies with Hebrew subtitles, no matter where I am, or what route I am flying. It helps me retain my Hebrew-speaking skills. Kudos to CO's IFE programmer!

That is correct the movies are the same without route limits etc, so the chinese movies I watched will be on a TLV trip, and the hebrew subtitles on a PEK trip like I just had...

The music-only channel selections seem to have been greatly diminished from the pre-AVOD days.
CO's AVOD system also doesn't seem to enable rewinding, fast forward, start-on-demand, etc for movies like Thai Airways AVOD system does.
Air France's AVOD system used to have quite a selection of video games. I didn't notice any such options on CO's AVOD.
