Time for miles to repost?

Time for miles to repost?
Hi, Sorry if this has been answered before but i booked a reward ticket on CO.com since i need more files for another reward ticket (used the maximizer to buy miles at a cheaper rate) after i bought the miles i canceled the ticket within the 24 hours. My question is normally how long does it take to have those mile back into my account.

Sometimes a couple days, sometimes never until you call in and ask for them.

Wanted to have them change a reward as a Plat via an agent, but no can do.
Fine, just redoposit it, I'll book what I need online
Agent was nice enough to wait the few minutes till I completed my res and then cancelled the original o/w.
Took a day or two to post the credit.
