While Captain Picard is the only captain for me, Mrs. Mackie was into Stargate so I watched a few of those and they were ok, but I never could get into BSG.

It isn't as "sanitized" as other Syfy () shows I've seen. There's genocide, treason, plenty of fighting/gore, and plenty of sex (both human/human and human/Canadian). It's more like Starship Troopers than Starship Enterprise.

I assume you mean the new one rather than the original featuring Lorne Greene, Richard Hatch, and the pre-A-team Dirk Benedict. (I actually saw the pilot in a movie theater featuring Sensurround )

I'm told the human/Canadian flavor can be rather intriguing.

All quality examples. I have several others that I can't go get right now because I'm at work.

I swear on all that is good and decent that if I delayed BBQ Thursday until 2PM for this 1:30PM meeting and no one shows up that there are some ribs somewhere that are going to pay dearly.
