Continental World Mastercard Offers Flex EQM Through Targeted Promo
I just received a flyer in the mail offering a choice between 1 additional mile per $1 spent or 1 Flex EQM for each $1 spent each month between July and October when you spend over $3,000 each month (the bonus miles only accrue for the amount over $3,000 each month). I had only seen the Flex EQMs as part of the Presidential Plus in the past. I chose the RDMs as I fly enough to maintain Platinum without the bonus EQMs. This is targeted with a code. Anyone get anything similar?

I wish too.
I'm surprised to see flex EQMs set at an equivalent value to OP miles.
I'd sell my miles at 5:1 or so for flex EQM in the bank.

Just rescued it from the oval file...and presto...I have:
1:1 Flex EQM or +1 RDM over $2400/month July-November!
I normally spend ~$500/month on this card. Total spend of ~$20000/month! Looks like I'm gonna be looking at about 30K+ extra rewards!

I got a completely different promo... no flex EQMs... just a sliding scale of bonuses after milestones are achieved. I have to read it more carefully, but the max that can be earned for the promo is 4000 miles and 1 companion ticket.

ahh the fine print. But it would be nice....I have lots of EQM from the PPlus card but, more is more! I Won't be spending 3k/month on my normal card though, I normally don't put that much on it, I pay off what I put.

I received a targeted offer for just extra RDMs, no choice in the matter but the same $3k requirement.
Really would have liked the flex miles since it looks like I will have to do a mileage run at some point to maintain my platinum status.

Here are the details of the offer I got. No EQMs...
July 1- Oct 31
The fine print:
In other words, spend $8800 and get 8800 miles + 4000 bonus miles + 2 PC passes + 1 companion ticket of dubious worth
Does anyone know if the companion ticket is heavily restricted? I haven't used one in ages and I know there are several versions out there.
July 1- Oct 31
- Spend $4k get 500 bonus miles
- Spend $2400 more, get 1000 bonus miles + 2 PC passes
- Spend another $2400, get 2500 bonus miles + a complimentary companion ticket
The fine print:
- You must enroll by 7/31 and it's targeted
- Maximum reward accumulation during promtion is 4000 miles, 1 companion ticket, and 2 PC passes.
- Bonus awarded 6-8 weks after reaching the designated spend hurdle.
