Sponsor Mini Downunder girl for WORLD VISION 40 hr famine 21st August 2009
Like mother, like daughter - I did the 40 Hour Famine for many years when I was younger .
With the support of her school, Mini Downunder girl is doing the World Vision 40 HOUR FAMINE on the weekend of 21st August.
Sponsorship can be done online and you will receive a receipt for taxation purposes. All donations over $2 are tax deductable.
If anyone is interested in sponsoring her, please PM me for the sponsorship details. We will need an email address to send the official World Vision link to you.
Thanks

LOL well there is going to be a mass sleepover at one of Mini DG's friends houses, so they can all be on the floor together !
Italy98 - nice to see you here, I was about to send you PM about this, as I know you struggled with the admin side last year. Thanks again .

You are so right! .
I cant believe how fast its growing. Of course I have been using some social networking to get the word out . When I used to do the 40 Hour Famine (the starving version was the only option), I think I would have been lucky to raise $30 back then
Thanks EL C ^ :-:. Mini DG will wake up to a nice surprise in the morning!

As a multi-year 40-Hour famine participant myself back in my high school days (yes, I actually went without food for 40 hours--those who know me now would be shocked to know this), I'm honored to assist with Mini DG's very worthy efforts for a very good cause.

Thank you so much, jackal ^.
Yes I used to do the full 40 hours of starving too. I do remember hanging out for mum's Sunday roast lunch after those 40 hrs .
